Rev. Samuel Newell, Minister
Rev. Samuel Newell was installed as minister of Alexandra on Friday, 3rd June 2011. We give a warm welcome to him and his wife, Audrey, as they join the family of Alexandra.

Mervyn McCormick, Clerk of Session
Mervyn took up the post of Clerk in March 2010. As a congregation, we look forward to the energy and enthusiasm he will provide as he help to lead our church forward. Mervyn is married to Elizabeth and together they have one daughter, Rachel and one son, Samuel.

Heather McCracken, Deaconess
Heather McCracken attended Strean Presbyterian Church, Newtownards while growing up on a dairy farm in the Craigantlet Hills. When she completed her 'A' Levels she continued into deaconess training. She married in 1988 and switched to part-time work to look after her two children, Suzie and Gordon.

David McConkey, Treasurer
David is the Principal of Whitehouse Primary School, Newtownabbey. Before joining Alexandra, David and his family belonged to Newington Presbyterian Church. David is married to Greta and together they have one daughter; Alison, and one son, Jonny. David is also grandfather to Joshua and Jessica.

Betty Beggs , Secretary
Betty Beggs has recently took on the post of Church Secretary. She lectures at Queens University Belfast in Nursing. She also hold the role of Alexandra's Tearfund Representative.
