11.00am - Morning Service
You are warmly invited to join with us for our Sunday services. Our Summer Assistant, Mr. Mark Dodds will lead this service, speaking from the passages of Acts 6:8-8:1. The theme will be 'The Danger of Rejection '. Creche, KFC and Bible 4 Teens programmes during the morning service. A prayer meeting precedes the service in the Minister's Room at 10.30am.

7.00pm - Evening Worship
We extend a warm welcome for you to share with us in fellowship this evening. Rev. Ian McClen will speak at this service. Please plan to come along. A prayer meeting precedes the service in the Lounge at 6.30pm.

Wednesday 1st September
7.30pm - Summer Prayer Meeting
The evening t will start at 7.30pm with visuals on PowerPoint to guide your praying with music providing a lovely praying atmosphere. Then at around 8.15pm, there will be an opportunity to gather together for shared prayer. Feel free to come along and stay for as long or as short as you can, you will be made most welcome. This will be our last prayer time for the summer.

This evening will be a special night to pray for each of our organisations and activities in the year to come in Alexandra. Please try your best to be their and show your support for the work of our congregation.

Moderator's Appeal for Flood Victims in Pakistan
Today and over the next month we have the opportunity to supprt this appeal. our contributions will primarily be channelled through our partners in Tearfund and Christian Aid who have been working in Pakistan for a long time and are already providing emergency food and medical assistance through their well-established networks. A portion will also be donated to the Presbyterian Church of Pakistan. Please place your contribution in an envelope in the offering plate, clearly marked "Moderator's Appeal for Pakistan". For the purpose of Gift Aid, please write your name or FWO number, if appropriate, on the envelope. Thank you.

TOTTS - Pantomime
TOTTS have once again booked the pantomime at Belvoir Players Studio for Friday 7th January 2011. The cost will be £6.00. Please put your name on the sheet at the back of the Church. Please note that all money must be paid by October at the latest. Spaces usually fill up quickly, so don't leave it too late to put your name down.

Girls Allowed Events
Please see the announcements regarding the meal at Tullyglass House in September, and the meal at McKee's in December, and fill in the sheets at the back of the Church, if you intend to go. Christine needs to know the numbers so that she can go ahead with bookings.

We encourage all of our people to commit themselves to underpin our work and witness at this time in prayer and as we move together through the process of hearing and calling our next minister.
